Is it necessary to negate the opposite of an attribute if God has affirmed it for Himself, just as it is necessary to affirm its opposite if He has denied it from Himself?

Whatever attributes God has negated from Himself implies the negation of that attribute and the affirmation of the perfection of its opposite; for pure negation contains no perfection. As for the attributes God has affirmed for Himself, they imply the affirmation of the attribute to Him and the negation of its opposite. Every text of affirmation indicates general and specific transcendence, and the negation of resemblance and similitude.
