What is the share of each heir from the inheritance if the deceased has 3 sons and 7 daughters?

If the deceased leaves no heirs other than sons and daughters, then the inheritance is for them by way of ta'sib (residuary heirship), with the male receiving the equivalent of the share of two females. The inheritance is divided into a specific number of shares such that the son receives two shares and the daughter receives one share. It must be noted that matters of inheritance are critical and complex, and a mere fatwa is insufficient. Rather, they must be referred to the Sharia courts for investigation and to ensure that there are no other heirs, wills, or debts that take precedence over the rights of the heirs.
