There is no objection to dissecting animals, insects, and other creatures for scientific purposes that serve a preponderant interest, nor to dissecting human beings for learning, provided that the person being dissected is not a Muslim. Dissecting a pig for scientific purposes is permissible, and it must be touched with a barrier due to its impurity. If direct contact is necessary, hands must be washed afterwards. Touching exposed human bones is permissible because a human being does not become impure by death.
