What is the ruling on relinquishing inheritance and waqf during one's lifetime for someone who wishes to meet God with nothing in their possession?

The preference of a mother for some of her children over others is a matter on which scholars have differed. However, a sister's gift to her younger brother is permissible, and she will be rewarded for it. Her dedicating land as an endowment (waqf) to build an orphanage is a righteous and commendable act, and it is better for the endowment to be established during her lifetime. As for her giving away all her possessions in charity: if she has no heir and has the ability to rely on Allah and be patient, then it is permissible; otherwise, it is not. If she has heirs and they are financially self-sufficient, then it is permissible; otherwise, it is not.
