Is it permissible to offer the Udhiyah (sacrificial animal) after shaving for someone who intended to offer the Udhiyah?

For the one intending to offer a sacrifice (Udhiyah), it is preferable not to cut or shorten their hair during the first ten days [of Dhul-Hijjah], in compliance with the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "When the ten days begin, and one of you wishes to offer a sacrifice, then let him not touch any of his hair or skin." Scholars have differed regarding the ruling on cutting nails and hair during this period. The wisdom behind this prohibition is for the sacrificer to remain complete in his parts, so that he may be freed from the Fire, or to resemble one in a state of ihram. However, if someone does so, there is no sin upon him, especially if there is a legitimate Islamic need.
