What is the reason for the Prophet (peace be upon him) drinking Zamzam water while standing, despite his prohibition against drinking while standing?

It has been established that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, drank from Zamzam while standing, and scholars have differed regarding the reason for this. It was said: to show permissibility, and that the prohibition against drinking while standing is not for حرمة (prohibition). And it was said: out of necessity, due to the absence of a place to sit. Al-Hafiz favored that the hadiths of prohibition are to be understood as indicating a disliked act (karahat al-tanzih), and the hadiths of permissibility as indicating allowance (ibahah), and this approach is the best.
