The answer

It is not permissible for a woman to abandon ablution (Wudu') in favor of (dry ablution) on the pretext of preserving her adornment for her husband. The wife must fear Allah and maintain her ablution for prayer.

The husband, too, should be fair in his requests, so as not to burden his wife by demanding adornment in a way that affects her worship. For indeed, everyone who has a right should be given their right, as Salman al-Farsi said to Abu Darda: "Indeed, your Lord has a right over you, and your soul has a right over you, and your family has a right over you. So give each one who has a right, his right." The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, affirmed this statement.
