Who was the first to be buried in Al-Baqi'?

The first of the Muhajirun to be buried in Al-Baqi' was Uthman ibn Maz'un, may Allah be pleased with him. He passed away after witnessing Badr in the second year of the Hijra. He was the first of the Muhajirun to die in Medina and the first of them to be buried in Al-Baqi'. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, kissed him while he was dead, with tears flowing down his cheeks.
