Source: FtawySummary from Ftawy's records · added here Sep 2, 2026
Al-Baqi' is a graveyard in Medina, near the Prophet's Mosque (peace and blessings be upon him). A large number of Companions were buried there. The first of the Muhajirun (Emigrants) to be buried there was 'Uthman ibn Maz'un (may Allah be pleased with him). Among the most prominent figures buried there are 'Uthman ibn 'Affan, Ibrahim (the son of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him), 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud, Al- ibn 'Ali ibn Abi Talib, 'Abd al-Rahman ibn 'Awf, and many others.
