What is the ruling on parents helping a foreign young man come to marry their daughter, knowing that the young man met the girl over the internet?

The sister erred in her behavior, for it is not permissible for her to chat with young men online or otherwise. She must repent to Allah and sever her relationship with this young man. If he wishes to propose to her, he should come to the house and propose to her through her guardian.
