How does a person discover whether he has been bewitched or possessed by a jinn that makes him practice masturbation, so that he does not wrongfully accuse himself?

However, it is advised not to preoccupy oneself with the possibility of possession or magic to avoid psychological problems. One must stay away from forbidden acts (haram) and be diligent in what helps achieve this, such as marriage and fasting, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "O young people, whoever among you can afford to marry, let him do so, for it helps lower the gaze and guard one's chastity. And whoever cannot afford it, let him fast, for it is a shield for him." One can also perform the legitimate ruqyah mentioned in Fatwa number 79244.
