If the doll's belly is removed or perforated, it is permissible according to a group of jurists. However, merely cutting open the doll's belly and replacing it with fabric, such that the doll does not become belly-less or with a perforated belly, this does not remove the doll from being a complete image that is fundamentally forbidden.
