Is offering a small sum of money to a general manager who is a client, at his request, considered Haram (forbidden) and what is its punishment?

Bribery is one of the major sins, and its perpetrator is cursed. This includes the briber, the bribed, and the mediator between them, based on the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) cursed the briber and the bribed." And Allah's Almighty saying: {Listeners to falsehood, devourers of illicit gain} [Al-Ma'idah: 42], and His Almighty saying: {And do not consume your properties among yourselves through falsehood} [Al-Baqarah: 188]. Therefore, whoever falls into this must repent to Allah.
