Is it permissible for a female student to submit inaccurate medical reports—in coordination with the responsible employees—in order to transfer to a closer university, knowing that she genuinely suffers from illnesses that make travel difficult, but the reports might exaggerate her condition to conform to admission requirements manipulated by corrupt employees?

Falsifying medical certificates is Islamically forbidden. The fatwa cited Quranic verses and Prophetic traditions that prohibit bearing false witness and deception. The prevalence of falsification among students does not justify the act, because the intention to reach the truth does not permit falsification. Therefore, one must fear Allah, be patient, avoid falsification, strive hard in studies, and supplicate sincerely for the facilitation of good.
