Al-Nawawi mentioned that his miracles exceed 1,200, and Ibn Hajar stated that they reached 1,000, and some say 3,000. Examples include the monk 'Isa's informing 'Abd al-Muttalib of the Prophet's prophethood on the night of his birth at Mar al-Dhahran, the splitting of his chest in his childhood, and the blessings that befell the home of Halima al-Sa'diya.
