Is it valid to complete the habitual congregational prayer for forty days for someone who missed Fajr prayer in the second forty-day period, or is he required to start anew? And is it incumbent upon one who prayed with secretions present, the nature of which he did not know, then became certain of their presence after the prayer, to repeat his prayer?

Prayer in congregation has great merit and abundant reward. A man's prayer in congregation may be twenty-five times superior to his prayer at home or in the marketplace. And whoever prays to Allah for forty days in congregation, catching the first takbir, will have two immunities recorded for him: immunity from the Fire and immunity from hypocrisy. If you miss a prayer during these forty days, the condition of consecutive prayers in congregation is broken, and you will not attain this specific reward.
