Is it permissible to eat an egg that has a red or black spot in the albumen or yolk?

It is not permissible to eat rotten eggs. An egg is considered rotten if it has turned into a dead chick, or has become blood, or a chewed lump of flesh. However, the presence of a speck of blood in the yolk or white of the egg is excusable, and there is no harm in eating an egg that has a red or black speck.
