How is an inheritance divided among the father, mother, husband, son, three brothers, and two sisters?

If the deceased leaves behind only a mother, a father, a husband, a son, two full sisters, and full brothers, then the mother receives one-sixth, and the father receives one-sixth due to the presence of a descendant heir. The husband receives one-fourth due to the presence of a descendant heir, and the remainder goes to the son by virtue of 'asabah (residuary heirship). The two sisters and full brothers receive nothing, as they are excluded by the son and the father. The inheritance is divided into twenty-four shares: four for the mother, four for the father, six for the husband, and ten for the son. It must be noted that matters of inheritance are complex and intricate, and a mere fatwa (religious edict) is not sufficient; rather, the case must be brought before Sharia courts for investigation and verification.
