How can one be steadfast in obedience to Allah?

Steadfastness and perseverance in Allah's religion are obligatory and are the path to happiness in this world and the hereafter, as stated in the Noble Qur'an and the Prophetic Sunnah. Steadfastness is achieved by seeking Allah's help, acting upon His Book and His Prophet's Sunnah, accompanying good people, and shunning bad companions.
