How can one deal with a stubborn father who refuses to apologize, does not accept his daughter's رضا (contentment/satisfaction), and asks her to leave the home upon marriage?

The basic principle is a father's compassion for his child, and his anger is usually justified. The questioner is advised to obey his father in everything except in disobedience to Allah or what harms him. Regarding marriage, the majority of scholars do not obligate the father to marry off his son, and this is the most preponderant opinion, whereas the Hanbalis made it obligatory if the son's maintenance is incumbent upon the father.
