Is striking one's father, due to the father's cursing of the mother and divorcing her in front of the son, considered an act of disobedience that prevents entry into Paradise and the acceptance of deeds?

Striking one's father is absolutely impermissible under any circumstances, and it is among the most heinous forms of undutifulness to parents. If merely sighing in his presence is considered undutifulness, then what about striking him? Therefore, one must hasten to repent to Allah, seek the father's satisfaction, and treat him with kindness. The father's bad behavior towards the mother and children is considered a reprehensible act and an injustice. He should be prayed for guidance, and advised with kindness, even if through the mediation of some virtuous individuals.
