It is not valid for travelers or non-resident expatriates to establish the Jumu'ah (Friday) prayer, whether they perform it by themselves or with other travelers and expatriates, because the Jumu'ah prayer is established by permanent residents, not by travelers or non-resident expatriates. However, if there are permanent residents in the hospital, travelers may pray Jumu'ah with them, and it is incumbent upon expatriates to pray with them.
