Does the reward for adhkar (remembrance of God), tasbeeh (glorification of God), Qur'an recitation, and good deeds (even removing harm from a pathway) reach the deceased when one intends to dedicate the reward to them? And does a husband's contentment with his deceased wife intercede for her and weigh heavily in her favor? And does the death of a young wife on a Friday, while she was of good character and religious devotion, intercede for her? And does continuous supplication for her reach her? And what are all the deeds whose reward reaches the deceased?

Scholars have unanimously agreed on the到达the reward of supplication (du'a') for the deceased and charity (sadaqah) given on their behalf, and the best of charities is providing water. The gifting of the reward of other acts of obedience (ta'at) reaches the deceased according to some scholars. A wife's obedience to her husband and her good companionship are rewarded, and praising her after her death benefits her. Dying in youth does not indicate a special reward unless it is sudden, and dying on a Friday saves one from the torment of the grave. It is permissible to supplicate for the deceased, but one should not regularly gather every night for supplication to avoid the innovation of addition. It is best to supplicate for the deceased female for forgiveness and mercy, and upon visiting the grave, one should greet her.
