Is a wife entitled to seek divorce from her husband who insults and coerces her into working, withholds money from her, and does not see himself as being wrong in his treatment of her?

If the husband is harsh and foul-mouthed, then he is abusive and disobedient to the Sharia (definition), which commanded good treatment of wives: "And live with them honorably." It is advisable to pray for him and continue to advise him gently, seeking help from close relatives, and reminding him of his wife's rights. If the harm persists, the wife has the right to seek divorce, but it should not be resorted to unless its benefit outweighs the harm, especially due to its impact on the children. The husband does not have the right to force his wife to work with him.
