To what extent is the hadith "Whoever revives my Sunnah has loved me, and whoever loves me will be with me in Paradise" authentic? And is it permissible to cite weak hadiths as evidence?

The hadith was narrated by Al-Tirmidhi, Al-Tabarani, Al-Lalaka'i, and Al-Uqayli, and Al-Suyuti attributed it to Al-Sijzi. However, none of its chains of narration are free from criticism. It was deemed weak by Al-Tirmidhi, Ibn Hajar, Al-Manawi, and Al-Albani.
