What is the expiation for an oath linked to a number, such as saying: "By Allah, by the number of His creation, I will do such and such," if one breaks it? And is a single expiation required, or expiations equal to the number of His creation?

If someone repeats an oath concerning a single action, whether to do it or refrain from it, and then breaks it, only one expiation is required of them, even if they repeated the oath a thousand times or by the number of God's creation. This is because the cause is one, and the oath is for emphasis. However, if the actions sworn upon are multiple, then multiple expiations are required, corresponding to the number of these actions. If multiple actions are combined in a single oath, and the person breaks any part of it, then only one expiation is required. If the number of oaths cannot be ascertained, one should act based on their dominant assumption.
