Is a husband's father entitled to divorce his son's wife due to family problems?

Divorce is solely in the husband's hand; no one else has the right to divorce his wife. A child must honor and obey his parents in what is good and right, but divorcing his wife is not among such matters. Therefore, he is not obligated to obey them in the affair of divorce, as Imam Ahmad and Ibn Taymiyyah have given fatwas. Threatening a man's wife with divorce or with his father is not from manliness or living together honorably.
