What food did the Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him, eat most often, and what was his bed?

The Prophet's — peace and blessings be upon him — bed on which he slept was made of leather stuffed with palm fibers, as narrated by Muslim from Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her. He would also lie on a mat, which would leave marks on his side. He might sleep on a mattress, a leather mat, a reed mat, the ground, a bed, or a black cloth. He also had a rug that he would fold twice to sleep on, and he forbade folding it four times because it prevented him from his prayer.
