Is it permissible for a mother to gift some of her property to some of her male children without the consent of her daughters, and are the children entitled to claim the remainder of the inheritance?

Parents must be just in giving gifts to their children; it is not permissible to favor one over another unless there is a legitimate Sharia reason. If males are favored over females without a legitimate reason, the gift must be returned, and the house and storage unit must be divided among all children according to the inheritance division, because the gift is invalid. The one who was favored must not take theفضل (excess/preference), but rather share justly with his siblings.
