What is the ruling on one who severs ties with his brother and refuses reconciliation multiple times?

Cutting off kinship ties is among the major sins that incur curses and Allah's wrath, as stated in the Holy Quran. Verses and Ahadith emphasize the obligation of maintaining kinship ties and the prohibition of severing them. This man must fear Allah and remember his standing before Him on the Day of Judgment. Those related to him should advise him and repeatedly offer counsel, perhaps Allah will open his heart to reconnect with his kin.
