Is it permissible to perform Umrah on behalf of children who have not reached puberty (a 9-year-old daughter and a 6-year-old son)?

For the validity of performing 'Umrah on behalf of a living person, it is stipulated that the person be incapacitated with an ailment from which recovery is not expected, and that they grant permission for it. It is also stipulated that the proxy must have performed 'Umrah for themselves. Therefore, it is not permissible for you to perform 'Umrah on behalf of your son and daughter, because a child is not subject to legal religious obligations. If the intention is to perform 'Umrah and dedicate the reward to them, the majority of scholars hold that this is not permissible.
