Is a divorce issued by a husband valid when he is in a state of extreme anger after having been afflicted by magic, and is the divorce considered valid if the intention was to free the wife from oppression?

If a husband divorces his wife while he is fully aware of what he is saying and acting of his own free will, the divorce is valid, even if it was due to magic (sihr). No consideration is given to his intention of freeing her from injustice or to him being highly nervous. If this was the first or second divorce, he may take his wife back before her 'iddah (waiting period) expires. It is advisable to refer the matter to a Sharia court or to scholars. It must be noted that it is not permissible to accuse anyone of magic without clear evidence.
