Are previous divorces void if the wife was under the influence of magic and demonic possession, and if not, should the words of the lawyer who did not send the divorce papers, estimated at two pronouncements from the Jordanian Dar Al-Ifta, be acted upon?

The answer to this question has been provided previously. We would like to add two points: First, divorce uttered in a state of extreme anger that renders one unconscious is not effective. However, regarding extreme anger that does not cause loss of consciousness, there is a difference of opinion among scholars. There is no harm in acting upon the opinion of those who rule that such a divorce does not take effect. Second, divorce is not invalidated by the wife being under the influence of magic (sihr) or jinn possession. The decisive factor is the husband's state. If he is aware and acting out of his own free will, then his divorce is effective.
