Is the Hadith, "Whoever fasts Ramadan then follows it with six days from Shawwal, it is as if he has fasted the entire year," authentic?

It has been authentically reported from the Prophet (peace be upon him) that fasting six days of Shawwal after Ramadan is like fasting an entire year, for a good deed is rewarded tenfold.
