Who are the ten promised Paradise and who are the eight who preceded others to Islam?

The ten promised Paradise are Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, Ali, Talha, Al-Zubayr, Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf, Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqas, Abu Ubaydah ibn al-Jarrah, and Sa'id ibn Zayd. As for the eight who were pioneers (in Islam), they are: Ali ibn Abi Talib, Zayd ibn Haritha, Abu Bakr al-Siddiq, Uthman ibn Affan, Al-Zubayr ibn al-Awwam, Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf, Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqas, and Talha ibn Ubaydullah.
