What a father does by soliciting his daughter for zina (fornication/adultery) is one of the gravest major sins. Zina with a daughter is more sinful than zina with a neighbor's wife. The perpetrator of such an act has been stripped of shame, reason, and religion. It is incumbent upon the daughter not to be alone with her father except in the presence of a mahram, and to appear before him veiled. She should advise him from a distance and ask her relatives to advise him. If he does not respond, she should resort to the authorities and the committees for enjoining good to protect her. His threat to supplicate against her will not be answered, because it is a supplication for sin. It is not permissible for her to abandon her father entirely; rather, she should only check on him by phone.
