Purifying places where fornication has occurred involves cleansing impurities such as (pre-seminal fluid) and the impure vaginal fluids, while semen is not impure. Combating the crime of fornication is obligatory by changing the evil with one's hand, tongue, or heart. If unable to change it, one should consider what is more appropriate between reporting the matter to the authorities or not, unless the fornicator is openly committing the evil, in which case their matter should be reported to the ruler and they should not be concealed.
