Do the people of the Gardens see each other if they are in different Gardens, and how do spouses meet if each of them is in a different Garden? And do women reside with their husbands in Paradise? And do women have a desire for intercourse in Paradise, and if so, can the wife endure her husband's intercourse with the houris for the mentioned duration?
If a believer enters Paradise and his wife was righteous, she will be his wife therein. The one whose rank is lower will be elevated to the higher rank by the grace of Allah, based on His saying, the Most High: "Gardens of Eden which they will enter and [also] whoever was righteous among their fathers, their spouses and their descendants." And the wife will enjoy her husband in Paradise, as indicated by the verses: "Enter Paradise, you and your spouses, in happiness," and "They and their spouses will be in shades, reclining on adorned couches." Some exegetes are of the view that "your spouses" includes their counterparts in obedience, while others believe it includes their wives in Paradise. And Paradise is free from jealousy, sorrow, and misery, so that the happiness of its inhabitants may be complete, in fulfillment of His saying, the Most High: "And We will remove whatever is in their breasts of resentment," and "Praise be to Allah, who has removed from us [all] sorrow."
