Is it Islamically forbidden to join Gold Quest company?

The means of illicit gain have proliferated in this era, and Muslims are no longer able to distinguish between them and the lawful due to a lack of knowledge and people's immersion in the pursuit of worldly matters.

The company "Gold Quest" appeared in 1998, and its blight spread among Muslims. After studying its business plan, it became clear that it contains sufficient Sharia violations to prohibit dealing with it and to deem those who deal with it sinful. The most important of these are:

1. Lack of immediate possession in the مجلس (assembly/session): Gold is not delivered until approximately 45 days later, which constitutes the forbidden riba al-nasi'ah (usury of delay). 2. The transaction resembles gambling: The client pays money not out of desire for the commodity itself, but out of a desire to obtain a brokerage commission, the acquisition of which is uncertain. This is gambling, and what confirms this is that the purchase price is higher than the actual price of gold. 3. Use of forbidden products: The company sells gold and silver products in the form of watches and medallions. This is forbidden for men, and forbidden for women when not in the form of jewelry, by analogy with the prohibition of eating and drinking from gold and silver vessels. 4. Calling to idleness and earning without effort: Dealing with the company leads to the enrichment of a few and the impoverishment of the majority, which contradicts the principle of Islam in safeguarding public interests. 5. Uncertainty of outcome: The currencies (gold) sold by the company can be easily forged, exposing clients to potential losses.

Based on the foregoing, all Muslims are advised to boycott this company and not to deal with it, due to the corruption it causes in both religion and worldly affairs.
