The slogan "God, Homeland, King" may be considered a minor form of shirk (associating partners with God) in terms of its wording, as it conjoins the homeland and the king with God Almighty in a context that suggests equality in status and importance. The same applies to the saying "God, Homeland, Revolution." This is evidenced by the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) prohibition of saying "whatever Allah wills and you will," and his command to say "whatever Allah wills alone," or "whatever Allah wills, then you will." This is because the conjunction "and" (wa) implies equality in will, whereas "then" (thumma) implies subservience to the will of Allah Almighty.
