ما هو المبلغ المالي (بالدرهم) الواجب إخراجه كفدية عن الإفطار في رمضان بسبب مرض مزمن يمنع الصيام، في حال عدم القدرة على إطعام مسكين؟

A chronically ill patient who is unable to fast or make up for missed fasts must feed a poor person for each day, based on the Almighty's saying: ﴿And upon those who are able to fast, but with difficulty, is a ransom: the feeding of a poor person.﴾ Al-Baqarah/184. It is not permissible to pay the fidyah in cash; rather, a poor person must be fed. The patient can appoint someone he trusts to deliver the food to those deserving of it.
