What is the ruling on placing a short musical tone at the beginning of an educational video, not exceeding a few seconds?

It is not permissible for a programmer to include musical instruments (ma'azif) in their applications and software. Instead, they may use sound effects. There is also no harm in using short sounds for notifications, even if their origin is from the sound of some musical instruments, provided that the sound is not rhythmic or melodious.
