Is it permissible for a husband who is sexually impotent due to an accident to divorce his wife, who is patiently enduring with him, so that she may marry another man?

Patience and seeking reward from Allah are recommended during affliction, for it is a sign that Allah intends good for the afflicted and a cause for great reward. The wife was not wronged by the offer of divorce; if she chooses to stay, it is a virtuous act that she should perform hoping for Allah's reward. The wife has the right to sexual enjoyment with her husband to the extent of his ability.
