Are anasheeds (Islamic songs) accompanied by the daff (tambourine-like instrument) permissible, even if the sound of the daff is altered by a computer?

It is not permissible for men to use the tambourine (daf) due to the generality of the evidence prohibiting the adoption of musical instruments and entertainments. Musical instruments are forbidden by consensus, except for what has been exceptionally permitted by evidence, such as the tambourine for women at weddings and during Eid celebrations.
