What is the ruling on giving money or food to a man whose income is a mix of unlawful (from a venue for parties and indecent dancing) and lawful (from training in bodybuilding), and he is asking for assistance to meet his needs and the needs of his family?
It is not permissible to help someone who is extravagant with themselves in sins, neither with charity nor with anything else, if they will use it to disobey Allah. Rather, it is forbidden to give them anything. If they will not use it for sin, then it is still preferable not to give them anything, in order to shun the transgressor until they repent, especially one who openly commits sin. And whoever opens a hall for dancing and mixing is committing a forbidden act and is accurately described as a pimp, and pimping is bringing men and women together for the disobedience of Allah. Such a person should not be assisted or honored until they repent.
