The ruling on consuming a beverage that contains a percentage of alcohol has been previously explained. If you do not know that there is an intoxicating substance in a beverage, there is no sin upon you; for Allah Almighty says: "And there is no blame upon you for that in which you have erred, but [only for] what your hearts intended." The fundamental principle regarding foods and drinks is permissibility and lawfulness, and nothing is ruled unlawful except upon its proven unlawfulness according to specialists.
