Is not the intellect a reference for discerning right from wrong, and has not Allah Almighty called for it in His Holy Book?

Islam does not deny the use of intellect and thought in matters where the intellect has a domain. However, what Allah and His Messenger have established leaves no room for the intellect to interfere. Religious texts do not present impossibilities, but rather things that minds may struggle with due to their weakness.

There is no harm in the narrations about slave girls singing in the presence of the Prophet (peace be upon him), as there was no indecency or musical instruments, and the girls were young.

The narration about the Prophet (peace be upon him) urinating while standing is authentic, and there is no harm in it. It was not a continuous practice.

It has not been proven that the Prophet (peace be upon him) ate from what was slaughtered upon altars; rather, what is proven is that he refrained from doing so.
