Is the prayer of a man valid if he has a wound on his body to which he occasionally applies a small amount of alcohol, and is he required to wash the wound to purify it from the alcohol?

Alcohol is considered ritually impure by most scholars. Therefore, if intoxicating alcohol is applied to a wound, this is a treatment with an impure substance, and it must be washed off the wound. The majority of scholars view alcohol as impure and require washing anything it touches. However, according to the view that alcohol is pure, there is no harm in treating with it when needed, and it does not require washing. If the alcohol content in perfume is small, there is no issue; but if it is large, it is preferable to avoid it unless there is a necessity, such as disinfecting a wound. And whoever emulates a scholar trusted in his religion and knowledge incurs no blame.
