Is the writer of a fictional novel sinful if it is adapted into a visual work in which women appear immodestly, obscenely, and in a manner that incites to fornication, while this was not mentioned in his original novel?

The permissibility of writing novels is conditional upon their being free from prohibitions. If a writer's novel, which is free from prohibitions, is transformed into an artistic work containing immorality, then if the writer was unaware of it, did not approve of it, and was unable to prevent it, there is no sin upon him due to his lack of involvement, for sins are borne by their perpetrators, "And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another." However, if the writer agreed to it and permitted it, he is sinful for aiding in sin, as he would thereby be assisting in disobedience to Allah Almighty. And Allah, Exalted be He, says: "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression."
