What is the ruling of the religion on a widow's extravagance in spending on her orphans to compensate them, and is she sinful for that?

The guardian must manage the orphans' money in a way that serves their best interest. Spending and clothing, and all necessities, should be done in moderation, without extravagance or stinginess, guided by the Almighty's saying: "And do not make your hand shackled to your neck, nor extend it completely, lest you sit criticized and regretful." Therefore, considering their feelings is required within limits that do not harm their essential interests. The texts of the scholars confirm that the guardian's management must be according to what is best, and spending should be in moderation. Providing for them generously is required on occasions that necessitate it, such as Eid.
